Choreographers Statement:
My work is rooted in contemporary dance, but draws from my relationship with the natural world as an environmentalist & herbalist, as performer of classical theater, and from the mysticism of working as an astrologer. I am passionate about dance that veers into dance-theater with storytelling often drawing from myths, as well as site-specific work that is about our relationship to the natural world. I create movements following the principles of biomechanics, attempting for the dancing to be as healthful and joyful for myself and other dancers performing.
